Description
Bouncy and delicious, include() Merlot Rosé 2010 began as luxurious Merlot grapes sourced from the Black Sage Bench near Oliver, BC. A deep strawberry colour signals the hearty food wine within. It’s inspired by a particular bottle of rosé shared over beef bourguignon by winemaker Mark Simpson and his bride Leanne. For Simpson and his business partners Brad Marshall and Giuseppe Simpatico, Merlot Rosé 2010 will always be remembered as the first offspring of the include() project.
Winemaker’s Notes
We used 12 hours of skin contact on lightly pressed berries, inside our membrane press, to extract the deep strawberry colour and complex fruit notes from the grapes without intense tannins. A robust and rich rosé, made as a serious food wine.
