Winemaker’s Notes
The five classic grapes characteristic of a Bordeaux style red blend are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The blending journey is a key part of the evolution of this wine. Each lot has been fermented separately and lovingly tended with daily punch downs and 20 days of skin contact to extract a rich array of soft tannins, big tannins and colour.
